This past month has been unusually cold for our area. We even had snow to contend with, which was a first for my kids. After some much needed playing in the snow, we all headed out to the field to assess and do damage control. Luckily, both my kids were eager to help remove the ice weighing down the frost covers, so we made quick work of it and had minimal damage to the plants.
January has also been a busy month of indoor seeding. I have nearly 3,000 seedlings growing indoors just waiting for the last dangers of frost before they can get planted out.
