October has proven to be a very busy month. I was able to get ten trays of seeds in the office under grow lights, totaling 3,000 potential plants. Not every one will successfully germinate, but that is double the amount I did last year for fall.
I have been feverishly working to dig out raised beds (one shovelful at a time) this year to prevent the losses I suffered last year from flooding all while planting out these thousands of baby transplants.
It has been extremely hard work, but all the transplants are in and I am just holding out for some cooler weather to direct seed a few more varieties of flowers.
